The Delaware Public Health District’s SAFE Delaware County Coalition is partnering with SourcePoint as part of their Driver Safety Series to provide a CarFit event on Thursday, July 20 from 2:00-4:00 PM at SourcePoint, located at 800 Cheshire Road in Delaware.

In addition, the Health District is partnering with the Ohio Traffic Safety Office and the CarFit coordinator from the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging to provide technician and event coordinator training for partners in Ohio.

“This is an exciting new effort to make CarFit available to older drivers all over Ohio,” said Jackie Bain, Health District Community Health Specialist and SAFE Delaware Coordinator. “Finding out how to get the best fit in your personal vehicle can make a big difference and help protect you and those around you while driving on our roadways.”

For more details or to register for this event and training, please contact Jackie Bain at (740) 203-2083 or email jbain@delawarehealth.org. For more about CarFit, visit Car-Fit.org.
