Major General John C. Harris, Jr., Ohio’s Adjutant General, will serve as this year’s Honorary Grand Marshal, leading the parade along its route from the Delaware County Fairgrounds to Wilmer Street, concluding at Selby lot at Ohio Wesleyan University. Veterans, veterans’ support groups, and community members are encouraged to line the streets and show support for those who have served.

Festivities begin well before the parade, starting with a Veterans Social & Ceremony from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Delaware County Fairgrounds’ Junior Fair Building, located at 236 Pennsylvania Ave. This free, public event promises light refreshments, camaraderie, and entertainment by Dennis Smith & Friends. The gathering aims to bring together veterans and their supporters for a warm, welcoming environment where they can share stories and strengthen community ties.
