The venerable Central Ohio Symphony, in pursuit of its mission to engage the community through music, will be presenting familiar and unfamiliar pieces in its next concert.

On November 19 at 7:30 PM, the Symphony will open the concert with Pulse for orchestra by Brian Raphael Nabors, one of today’s most in-demand composers. This “play it again” piece captures life’s colorful variants of rhythm.

Next, Aisha Syed Castro of Miami and the Dominican Republic will perform Tchaikovsky’s well known Violin Concerto. The piece, the composer’s only violin concerto, was written in 1878 and represents one of the best-known concertos for the instrument.

The concert ends with Brahms’ Symphony No. 4, his last.

Its fast and easy to order your tickets now – click here to order online. Stop by the Symphony office at 24 E. Winter Street, or call the Symphony at 740-362-1799.
