If you don’t know what pollinators are and what they do, you’re in for a treat.

Join the great folks at the Stratford Ecological Center for two hours focused on learning about pollinators and their habitats. Your time will include a stroll around the Center to learn about native bees, butterflies, and other insects that help with the pollination process.

Each of these pollinators plays a vital role in the food chain that results in your having things to eat on your table.

The program runs through October, so each month will bring a changing farm and changing wonder to be found.

The next event will take place on Saturday, August 21 from 1 to 3 PM, with future editions on September 18, and October 16 at both 1 PM and 3 PM.

Online registration is required, and time slots fill up so do so as soon as possible. All ages are welcome to attend.

Cost is $10 per person, with a limit of 10 participants per session. The Stratford Ecological Center is located at 3083 Liberty Road in Delaware.
