The Office of Governor DeWine recently announced the appointments of several Ohioans to state boards and commissions.

Three Delaware County residents were included among those named, carrying forward a tradition of public service by Delaware Countians.

Deborah L. Kroninger of Sunbury

Kroniger has been appointed to the Rare Disease Advisory Council for a term beginning June 30, 2023 and ending April 22, 2025.

The ORDAC consists of 31 members appointed by the Governor, the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, and the President of the Ohio Senate. The statutory purpose of this group is “to advise the general assembly regarding research, diagnosis, and treatment efforts related to rare diseases across the state.

Cathann A. Kress of Powell

Powell has been reappointed to the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board for a term beginning June 30, 2023 and ending Jan. 25, 2026

The Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board accepted an enormous task nearly a year ago when charged with the responsibility of developing rules for the care and well-being of livestock in Ohio.

Ronald E. Raines of Galena

Raines has been appointed to the Ohio AMBER Alert Advisory Committee for a term beginning June 30, 2023 and ending Feb. 6, 2025.

The Ohio AMBER Alert Advisory Committee and its member organizations are committed to a statewide approach to the emergency alert programs through coordination of resources, information sharing, and training.
