The City of Delaware has a Planning Commission Meeting scheduled for November 1 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will take place at the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 1 South Sandusky Street. A Closer Look at the Agenda

Among the key items on the agenda are:

Greenwood Commons and The Flats at Sugar Run

A request by T&R Properties seeks approval for a Final Development Plan for Greenwood Commons and The Flats at Sugar Run. The proposed development spans approximately 61.627 acres and is located at 340 Lake Street and east of Joy Avenue. The property is zoned A-1 & R-3 PMU, which includes Agricultural and One-Family Residential Districts with a Planned Mixed Use Overlay District.

Bowtown Grand Development

Fincon Bowtown has submitted a request for approval of a Preliminary Development Plan for Bowtown Grand Development. The project is planned on approximately 16.809 acres on the north side of Bowtown Road, just west of Village Gate Apartments. The property is zoned R-6, which is a Multi-Family Residential District.

G2G Self-Storage Proposals

G-26 Self-Storage LLC has put forth multiple requests related to G2G Self-Storage. These include:

  • A request by G-26 Self-Storage LLC., for approval of a Rezoning Amendment from R-1 (One-Family Residential District) to B-3 (Community Business District) for G2G SelfStorage on approximately 1.002 acres located at 1280 Bowtown Road.
  • A request by G-26 Self-Storage LLC., for approval of an Amended Final Development Plan for G2G Self-Storage on approximately 8.683 acres located north of future Biltmore Drive and south of Bowtown Road.
  • A request by G-26 Self-Storage LLC., for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow Self-Service Storage for G2G Self-Storage on property zoned B-3 (Community Business District) on approximately 1.002 acres located at 1280 Bowtown Road.

Public Participation

The Planning Commission encourages public comment, although it should be noted that this is not a public hearing. Emails, letters, and petitions received by the Council Clerk by 10:00 AM on the date of the meeting will be submitted into the record. These can be sent to [email protected].
