On Monday, a section of road in Concord Township will close for a culvert replacement project.

The office of Delaware County Engineer Chris Bauserman has announced that the part of Concord Road that lies between Turfway Bend Drive and Cook Road will be closed throughout the week, with a re-opening scheduled for close of day Friday if work is complete.[widgets_on_pages id=1]

If there are questions regarding this project, please call 740.833.2400.

The Engineer’s Office is also moving ahead with plans to improve the intersection of Worthington Road and Africa Road, and is seeking input from the public. To that end, an open house will be held on Wednesday, November 14 at 4:30 PM at the Orange Township Hall, 1680 East Orange Road in Lewis Center.

The open house will not have a formal presentation, but planners will be on hand to listen and respond to questions. Attendees may come and go as schedules allow.
