In a Tuesday evening post on social media, the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office announced that the body found yesterday on the eastern shore of Alum Creek Lake has been identified.

“Family notification has been made. The deceased is TImothy Robert Marcum, 37, of Columbus. Identification was made through fingerprints. The final autopsy report will not be complete for several weeks, although initial findings indicate the cause of death as an apparent gunshot wound.
