Effective at 9:00 PM this evening, all restaurants and bars in Ohio will close pursuant to an order announced on Sunday afternoon by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.

This announced closure does not impact home-delivered and carry out food.

Infection numbers as they currently stand:

  • Confirmed cases in Ohio: 37  –  in the following counties: Belmont, Butler, Cuyahoga, Franklin, Lorain, Lucas, Medina, Stark , Summit, Trumbull, and Tuscarawas
  • Persons Under Investigation: 361
  • Persons Tested But Now Clear: 140
  • Individuals Under Health Supervision: 333

DeWine also stated that he had let school district superintendents in Ohio know that the present three week school closure may have to be extended.
