In a series of efforts to give back to the Delaware community, Hometown Urgent Care, Ohio’s largest urgent care system, is offering free flu shots (for the second weekend in a row) at their Delaware location on both Friday and Saturday, November 16, and 17 from 9 AM – 5 PM. Neither an appointment nor proof of insurance will be needed.
[widgets_on_pages id=1] The flu season extends from October through May, and according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the vaccine reduces the risk of the flu illness by 50-60%. For those still planning on getting the flu vaccine, November is a pivotal time to get vaccinated before the holidays and seasonal changes.

Hometown Urgent Care is located at 1100 Sunbury Rd #706 in Delaware.

“We have been serving the Delaware community for the past eight years providing quality urgent care at low costs, and we want to continue to give back to local residents,” said Amy Eichenlaub, Assistant Regional Manager for the Columbus region. “Hometown Urgent Care, in particular the Delaware, Ohio location, has always been a strong advocate for community engagement and recently donated over 100 free sports physicals to local schools and residents this past summer and plans to continue its ongoing community support throughout Delaware county,” added Eichenlaub.
