An evening of inspiration, music, and generosity awaits community members on Saturday, May 3 as St. Vincent New Beginnings hosts a Charity Benefit in support of its Transitional Housing Program. The event will take place at St. John Neumann Catholic Church Faith and Family Center, located at 9633 St. Rt. 36, Sunbury and begins at 6:00 PM.

A Night to Remember

Attendees will enjoy a catered dinner, a silent auction, and the smooth jazz stylings of the Jon Eshelman Trio—all while supporting a life-changing cause. The evening is designed to bring the community together in support of individuals and families working to rebuild their lives through safe, supportive housing.

Distinguished Speakers Highlight the Program’s Mission

The keynote address will be delivered by Ken Craycraft, moral theology professor at the Athenaeum of Ohio and author of Citizens Yet Strangers. Known for his thought-provoking insights on faith, community, and civic engagement, Craycraft is sure to set the tone for an impactful evening.

Joining him on the podium will be Sheriff Jeffrey Balzer of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department and Elizabeth Curtis, Chair of the Board of Directors for St. Vincent New Beginnings. Their remarks will provide perspective on the growing need for transitional housing in central Ohio and the ways local organizations are stepping up to meet the challenge.

Tickets and Tables

Individual tickets are $60, and tables of six are available for groups wanting to attend together. All proceeds benefit the ongoing work of St. Vincent New Beginnings, a nonprofit committed to helping individuals transition out of homelessness into stable, independent living.
