This fall and holiday season, the folks in Sunbury are making a difference in the lives of those who face a chilly winter without adequate clothing. A Holiday Coat Drive and a Holiday Blanket Drive is well underway.

The Coat Drive, sponsored by Sunbury Cleaners, continues through December 31. Coats may be dropped off at the store, 23 West Granville Street, during business hours – Monday through Friday 7 AM to 7 PM, and Saturdays 8 AM to 3 PM. The drive continues through December 31.

Meanwhile, the Holiday Blanket Drive is being spearheaded by Table Rock Construction. New blankets may be dropped off at that office, 28 East Cherry Street on Sunbury Square, through December 7. Business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. For your convenience, donations can also be dropped off at the Chamber of Commerce office, 39 East Granville between 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

The office will also be open for donations during Christmas on the Square festivities on Saturday, December 7 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
