It’s a call to “Celebrate School Spirit” at September’s First Friday event along the streets of downtown Delaware and hosted by Main Street Delaware. The good times will take place on Friday, September 6 from 6 PM to 9 PM.

This month’s celebration will feature the Ohio Wesleyan University Marching Bishops as well as other on-stage performances by students from schools throughout the city and county! Delaware-area cheerleaders and mascots also are invited to help add to the fun.

In addition, everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite school colors to the event, and local educators are invited to stop by a Teacher Appreciation Tent for special recognition and treats.

You can also participate in First Friday by securing a vendor’s table. Vendor opportunities exist for home based businesses, crafters, artists, organizations, clubs, entertainers and more. Non-profit spaces include schools, churches, government entities and other agencies who are able to provide 501(c)(3) non-profit status, if asked.

Online vendor registration can be found here.

September’s First Friday is sponsored by Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and COhatch.
