The Village of Ashley is calling on all community members to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand for a good cause. The Municipal Building Painting Party is set to take place on Saturday, September 14 at the Village’s Municipal Building, located at 3 N. Harrison Street. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or a first-time volunteer, your help is needed to give the heart of Ashley a fresh, new look.

A Day of Community Spirit

This painting party is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of community spirit. Ashley’s Municipal Building is a cornerstone of the village, and this project offers everyone a chance to contribute to its upkeep. Volunteers will have the opportunity to connect with neighbors, make new friends, and take pride in enhancing a public space that serves the entire community.

Shift options are available to accommodate various schedules: you can choose to help out in the morning from 9:00 AM to Noon or in the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Whatever time you can spare will make a significant impact.

Don’t worry if you’re not an experienced painter. The event is designed to be fun and inclusive, with guidance available for everyone. All necessary supplies, including paint and brushes, will be provided, thanks to a generous grant from Keep Ohio Beautiful and Sherwin-Williams.

Rain or Shine, the Work Must Go On

Why This Matters

Community projects like this one are essential in maintaining and improving the places where we live. The Municipal Building isn’t just a structure; it’s a symbol of Ashley’s history, governance, and shared community values. By participating in the painting party, you’re not only beautifying the building but also strengthening the bonds that hold the village together.

The Village of Ashley invites everyone to be a part of this exciting event. Together, let’s make the Municipal Building shine like never before!
