Special to 1808Delaware

The Delaware County District Library has shared the following information about closures before, during, and after Christmas Day.

All DCDL locations will be closed on Monday, December 25. We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, December 26. Our Maker Studio will also have closures this season; please read on for details. Happy holidays from our family to yours!

Be sure to check out some good books soon, and grab a couple new games to play with your family over break! You can also join our Winter Reading Club, which welcomes readers of all ages and offers the chance of winning some great prizes. Our Digital Collection is open 24/7/365; download books, watch movies, listen to music or discover a new podcast.

Storytimes will also be taking a break for the holidays through January 1. If your littles are missing their favorite librarian, be sure to visit our Storytime Anytime page, where you’ll find lots of storytime videos and activities to get you through the holidays.

Our Maker Studio locations will be closed on the follow days:

Delaware Maker Studio
• December 26

Liberty Maker studio
• December 26
• December 28
• December 29

However you choose to spend your holidays, we hope you enjoy the opportunity to reconnect with loved ones, and to take some time to do something that you love. We wish you and yours a warm, memorable, and very happy holiday season!
