The Delaware County Board of Elections Vote Center, located at 2079 US Highway 23 N, opened for in person, General Election absentee voting at 8 M on Tuesday morning.

The Delaware County Board of Elections is working to add a livestream from the Vote Center to allow voters to view how busy the venue is at any given time. It will be available via the Board’s Facebook Page.

The following schedule has been established for in person, absentee voting:

  • Wednesday to Friday, October 7-9: 8 AM to 5PM
  • Monday to Friday, October 12-16: 8AM to 5PM
  • Monday to Friday, October 19-23: 8AM to 6PM
  • Saturday, October 24: 8AM to 4PM
  • Monday to Friday, October 26-30: 8AM to 7PM
  • Saturday, October 31: 8AM to 4PM
  • Sunday, November 1: 1PM to 5PM
  • Monday, November 2: 8AM to 2PM

In person absentee voting unites the benefits of regular voting with what is typically a less busy venue and the knowledge that your vote is recorded before you leave the ballot box.

One county voter noted on social media Tuesday that an early morning visit to the Vote Center resulted in a voting experience that lasted less than ten minutes.
