In May, we shared a post detailing plans of the Ohio Department of Transportation to undertake the “Delaware Regional Connection Study,” an effort to identify optimal ways to improve the flow of traffic from Toledo to Columbus on US23 – and particularly southern Marion County through Delaware County.
In addition to a survey (a link to which is in our previous posts), public meetings have been set to garner public input. ODOT will be hosting these meetings to gather feedback on the existing US23 corridor and how it impacts driving patterns.
At each meeting, ODOT will provide a brief update on the study, but the meeting will be primarily focused on listening to your concerns and needs related to US23.
Due to the large geographic area and large number of possible participants, the study area has been broken into smaller groups. Use the below image to choose which meeting to attend, and register now.
- Northwest (A) Communities – Wednesday, July 7 – 12:00 PM
- Northeast (B) Communities – Wednesday, July 7 – 5:00 PM
- Central (C) Communities – Tuesday, July 13 – 12:00 PM
- Southwest (D) Communities – Tuesday, July 13 – 5:00 PM
- South (E) Communities – Wednesday, July 14 – 1:00 PM
- Southeast (F) Communities – Wednesday, July 14 – 5:00 PM
Note: The same information will be presented at each of the meetings. We encourage you to attend the session based on your geographic location, however you are welcome to attend any that fit your schedule.
