The event will kick off from OWU JAYwalk and features a 1.5-mile stroll through the scenic streets of historic downtown Delaware. This fun-filled day aims to bring awareness to the importance of communication health while supporting vital community services.

Supporting a Great Cause

All proceeds from the Walk for Communication will benefit the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center’s programs in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, and Occupational Therapy. Established in 1959, the Center has been a cornerstone of the Central Ohio community for over fifty years, dedicated to helping individuals improve their communication abilities. As a non-profit organization, the Center relies on support from events like this to continue offering its wide range of comprehensive services.

The Delaware Speech and Hearing Center serves residents through two locations, one in Delaware and another in Powell, Ohio. Its highly trained team of licensed professionals is committed to delivering individualized care in speech, language, and hearing services to both children and adults.
