It may be a bit different in terms of First Fridays hosted by Main Street Delaware, but August’s event will also have something brand new.
With a theme of “DPD (Delaware Police Department) Loves Delaware,” the city’s men and women in blue will be taking center stage.
New will be a Facebook Live tour of the Justice Center, which will take place on Friday, August 7 at 6PM. Organizers have indicated that there may be time for some online questions and answers with Police Department members after the tour.
A gift basket from the Delaware Police Department with fun prizes for kids will be available. To enter the contest, go to: www.mainstreetdelaware.com/dpdlovedelaware, fill out the information, and leave an encouraging note for a police officer.
