Here’s hoping that the heat of romance is more powerful than the chill of a very cold Ohio winter.

Next Friday evening is a good opportunity to test that premise, as Main Street Delaware hosts the second First Friday of the year. On February 4 from 6 PM to 8 PM, that is “Love is in the Air” along the streets of downtown.

Two major Valentine’s Day treats await attendees.

First “The Cupid Shuffle” will take guests on a tour of downtown to find 14 cupids and win a chance at a prize. To participate, pick up a card to play at the Welcome Center (20 East William Street) and then drop it off in the Welcome Center mailbox before Friday, February 11 at 5 PM.

Multiple prizes are available including a Downtown Date Night Package, Chocolate Walk tickets, Delaware T-shirts, and more!

Secondly, a Valentine’s Photo Booth will be on hand at the Welcome Center during event hours.

The event is sponsored by Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Delaware and Sheetz
