With the weather improving slowly but surely, crews are already back at work doing important updates on area roadways. As in years past, we will be providing weekly updates for projects in Delaware and Franklin Counties.
The following is scheduled to take place during this week.
DELAWARE
New Impacts
State Route 315 Slip Repairs
- SR 315 between SR 750 and U.S. 23 will close starting Monday, March 30 for 120 days.
- Detour: U.S. 23 to SR 750 to SR 315 or reverse.
U.S. 23 Culvert Maintenance
- U.S. 23 in both directions at Grief Parkway will have various daytime lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 24.
FRANKLIN
New Impacts
Far East Freeway
- The I-270 southbound ramp to I-70 eastbound will have various daytime lane restrictions (6 a.m. — 12 p.m.) Tuesday, March 24 through Thursday, March 26.
- The I-270 southbound ramp to I-70 eastbound will have various overnight lane restrictions (9 p.m. — 6 a.m.) Wednesday, March 25.
I-270 Resurfacing
- The I-270 northbound ramp to U.S. 33 westbound will close starting Monday, March 23 for 30 days.
- Detour: I-270 northbound to I-70 westbound to I-270 southbound to U.S. 33 westbound
- The U.S. 33 eastbound ramp to I-270 northbound will close starting Monday, March 23 for 90 days.
- Detour: U.S. 33 eastbound to Hamilton Rd. to U.S. 33 westbound to I-270 northbound.
- I-270 northbound at U.S. 33 will be reduced to two lanes starting Monday, March 23 for 30 days.
I-70 Pavement Reconstruction
- The Hilliard Rome Rd. ramp to I-70 westbound will clsoe starting Monday, April 6 for 60 days.
- Detour: Hilliard Rome Rd. to U.S. 40 westbound to SR 142 to I-70 westbound
Continuing Impacts
I-70 Pavement Reconstruction
- I-70 westbound traffic will be shifted to the eastbound side of the roadway starting overnight Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction through Fall 2026.
Far East Freeway
- Brice Rd. over I-70 will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting Saturday, August 2, 2025. Two left turn lanes on Brice Rd. northbound to I-70 WB will be maintained.
