Delaware County: Ongoing Road Projects

U.S. Route 36/State Route 37

CONTINUING IMPACTS

U.S. 36/SR 37 ‘The Point’

  • U.S. 36/SR 37 (Williams St./Central Ave.) traffic switched to the south side of the road the week of September 15, 2024. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained between the railroad bridge and SR 521. This change in traffic pattern will continue through Spring 2025.
    • Bowtown Rd. at U.S. 36/SR 37 closed in both directions during this phase. Access to Bowtown Rd. (including all intersecting streets and driveways) from SR 521 will be maintained.

Franklin County: Ongoing Road Projects

State Route 161

NEW IMPACTS

State Route 161 Widening

  • SR 161 eastbound between Sunbury Rd. and Hamilton Rd. will close overnight (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Thursday, November 14.
    • Detour: SR 161 eastbound to Little Turtle Way to E. Dublin Granville Rd. to Hamilton Rd. to SR 161
  • The I-270 westbound ramp to SR 3 will close overnight (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Thursday, November 14.
    • Detour: I-270 westbound to Cleveland Ave. to I-270 eastbound to SR 3

Interstate 270

NEW IMPACTS

Far East Freeway

  • The Brice Rd. ramp to I-70 westbound will close overnight (8 p.m. — 5 a.m.) Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15.
    • Detour: Brice Rd. to Main St. to I-270 southbound to I-70 westbound
  • The I-270 northbound ramp to I-70 westbound will close overnight (7 p.m. — 5 a.m.) Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15.
    • Detour: I-270 northbound to Main St. to I-270 southbound to I-70 westbound
  • The I-70 westbound ramp to I-270 southbound will close overnight (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November 15.
    • Detour: I-70 westbound to I-270 northbound to Main St. to I-270 southbound
  • I-270 southbound between Main St. and I-70 will close from 12 a.m. – 9 a.m. Saturday, November 16. Traffic will be maintained via the I-270 southbound collector/distributor lanes.
  • I-270 northbound between Main St. and I-70 will close from 5:30 a.m. – 8 a.m. Saturday, November 16. Traffic will be maintained via the I-270 northbound collector/distributor lanes.
  • The I-270 northbound collector/distributor lanes between Main St. and I-70 will close from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday, November 16. Traffic will be maintained via I-270 mainline.
  • The I-270 northbound to I-70 westbound ramp will close from 6 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday, November 16.
    • Detour: I-270 northbound to Main St. to I-270 southbound to I-70 westbound

Interstate 70

CONTINUING IMPACTS

McComb Road Bridge Rehabilitation

  • The McComb Rd. bridge over I-270 is closed as of Monday, August 26 for 90 days for bridge rehabilitation.
    • Detour: Home Rd. to Gantz Rd. to Breeze Hill Dr. to McZand Blvd. or reverse.

Hamilton Road Bridge Rehabilitation

  • The Hamilton Rd. bridge over I-270 will have various daily lane restrictions starting Monday, August 26 through winter 2024. Northbound traffic will be shifted to the southbound lanes of the bridge.
  • The Hamilton Rd. northbound ramp to I-270 northbound will close starting Sunday, September 22 through winter 2024.
    • Northbound detour: Hamilton Rd. to Broad St. to I-270 
    • Southbound detour: Hamilton Rd. to Granville St. to U.S. 62 to I-270
