ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.

Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on August 15.

DELAWARE COUNTY

State Route 315

NEW IMPACTS
SR 315 between Bean-Oller Rd. and Hyatts Rd. will close starting Monday, August 16 through Friday, August 27 for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 315 to SR 750 to U.S. 23 to SR 315 or reverse.

U.S. Route 36

CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 36 Intersection Safety Improvement – The intersection of U.S. 36 and SR 257 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) starting Monday, August 2 through October 2021 for traffic signal installation. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.


FRANKLIN COUNTY

State Route 315

NEW IMPACTS

  • Olentangy River Rd. between Highland Drive and Henderson Rd. will have daily lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, August 16 through Friday, August 20.
  • SR 315 southbound between Henderson Rd. and N. Broadway St. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Tuesday, August 17 through Thursday, August 19.
  • The Olentangy River Rd. ramp to SR 315 southbound will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Wednesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 19.
    • Detour: Bethel Rd. to SR 315 southbound.

U.S. Route 33

NEW IMPACTS
U.S. 33 eastbound and westbound between S. Hamilton Rd. and Bixby Rd. will have overnight lane restrictions (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, August 17 and Wednesday, August 18 for paving.

Interstate 71

NEW IMPACTS

I-71 northbound and southbound at SR 161 will have nightly lane restrictions (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 15 through Friday, August 20 for concrete bridge repairs.

Interstate 270

NEW IMPACTS

  • I-270 northbound between Alum Creek Dr. and U.S. 33 will have overnight lane restrictions (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Wednesday, August 18 for pavement repairs.
  • The I-270 eastbound ramp to U.S. 62 on the south side will close overnight (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Thursday, August 19.
    • Detour: I-270 eastbound to I-71 northbound to I-270 westbound to US 62.

NEW IMPACTS

  • I-270 eastbound and westbound between Riverside Dr. and Smoky Row Rd. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 15 through Friday, August 20 for paving.
  • The I-270 eastbound ramps to Sawmill Rd. will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, August 15.
    • Detour: I-270 eastbound to SR 315 northbound to I-270 westbound to Sawmill Rd.
  • The Sawmill Rd. northbound and southbound ramps to I-270 eastbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 15 through Thursday, August 19.
    • Detour: Sawmill Rd. to I-270 westbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 eastbound.

Interstate 670

NEW IMPACTS

  • The I-71 southbound ramp to I-670 westbound will close for the weekend starting 9 p.m., Friday, August 20 through 5 a.m., Monday, August 23.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to I-670 eastbound to Leonard Ave. to I-670 westbound
  • The 5th Ave. ramp to I-670 will close for the weekend starting 7 p.m., Friday, August 20 through 5 a.m., Monday, August 23.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to Main St. to I-71 northbound to I-670.
  • The I-670 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 15 through Thursday, August 19.
    • Detour: I-71 northbound to 11th Ave. to I-71 southbound.
  • The I-670 westbound ramp to U.S. 23/3rd St. and High St. will close overnight (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, August 15 and Monday, August 16.
    • Detour: I-670 westbound to Goodale St. to Neil Ave. southbound to I-670 eastbound to U.S. 23 southbound.
  • The I-71 southbound ramp to I-670 westbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Tuesday, August 17 through Thursday, August 19.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to I-670 eastbound to Leonard Ave. to I-670 westbound.
  • The I-670 westbound ramp to 4th St./U.S. 23 northbound will close nightly (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Tuesday, August 17 through Thursday, August 19.
    • Detour: I-71 northbound to 11th Ave. to I-71 southbound.
  • The 5th Ave. ramp to I-670 will close nightly (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Tuesday, August 17 through Thursday, August 19.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to Main St. to I-71 northbound to I-670.
  • I-670 westbound between I-71 and 4th St. will have nightly lane restrictions (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 15 through Thursday, August 19.
