This weekly report from ODOT District 6 highlights road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware and Franklin Counties. Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on August 7.

DELAWARE COUNTY

U.S. Route 42

CONTINUING IMPACTS

U.S. 42 Resurfacing – U.S. 42 northbound between Section-Line Rd. and Sawmill Parkway will close starting Monday, May 2 for 84 days. Detour: SR 257 northbound to U.S. 36 eastbound to U.S. 23 southbound to U.S. 42.

UPCOMING NEW IMPACTS

U.S. 42 Resurfacing – U.S. 42 northbound between SR 745 and Section Line-Rd. will close starting Monday, August 15 for 84 days. Detour: SR 257 northbound to U.S. 36 eastbound to U.S. 23 southbound to U.S. 42.

Freshwater Rd. at U.S. 42 will close starting Monday, August 15 for 42 days. Detour: Klondike Rd. to Riverside Dr. to Bean-Oller Rd. to S. Section-Line Rd. to U.S. 42

State Route 750

NEW IMPACTS

SR 750 at SR 315 will close for the weekend starting 9 p.m., Friday, August 12 through 5 a.m., Monday, August 15. Detour: SR 315 to SR 161 to SR 257 to SR 750 or reverse.

FRANKLIN COUNTY

Interstate 270

NEW IMPACTS

  • I-270 northbound at Cemetery Rd. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 7 through Friday, August 19.
  • The I-270 northbound ramp to Cemetery Rd. will close nightly (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 7 through Friday, August 19.
    • Detour: I-270 northbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 southbound to Cemetery Rd. westbound.
  • Cemetery Rd. eastbound and westbound at I-270 will have nightly lane restrictions (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, August 7 through Friday, August 19.
