ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.
Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on July 25.
DELAWARE COUNTY
State Route 257
CONTINUING IMPACTS
SR 257 south of Butts Rd. will close starting Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 30 for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 257 to SR 750 eastbound U.S. 23 northbound to U.S. 42 southbound to SR 257 southbound or reverse.
Interstate 71
CONTINUING IMPACTS
- I-71 southbound between Gemini Place and I-270 will have nightly lane restrictions (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Sunday, August 15 for resurfacing work.
- The Gemini Place ramp to I-71 southbound will close nightly (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: Gemini Pl. to Polaris Pkwy. eastbound to Cleveland Ave. southbound to I-270 westbound to I-71 southbound.
- The I-71 southbound ramps to I-270 eastbound and westbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 161 eastbound to I-71 northbound to I-270 eastbound/westbound.
- The Polaris Parkway eastbound and westbound ramps to I-71 southbound will close nightly (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 27 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: Cleveland Ave. southbound to I-270 westbound to I-71 southbound.
NEW IMPACTS
The following ramps will close weekdays, Monday – Friday (11 p.m. – 5 a.m.) and weekends, Saturday and Sunday (8 p.m. – 8 a.m.) for resurfacing:
- The I-71 southbound ramp to I-270 westbound on the north side will close nightly starting Sunday, July 25 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 161 to I-71 northbound to I-270 westbound.
- The I-71 southbound ramp to I-270 eastbound on the north side will close nightly starting Sunday, July 25 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 161 to I-71 northbound to I-270 eastbound.
- The I-71 northbound ramp to I-270 westbound on the north side will close nightly starting Sunday, July 25 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: I-270 eastbound to Cleveland Ave. to I-270 westbound.
- The I-270 eastbound ramp to I-71 southbound on the north side will close nightly starting Sunday, July 25 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: I-270 eastbound to Cleveland Ave. to I-270 westbound to I-71 southbound.
- The I-270 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound on the north side will close nightly starting Sunday, July 25 through Sunday, August 15.
- Detour: I-270 westbound to U.S. 23 southbound to SR 161 eastbound to I-71 southbound.
State Route 61
CONTINUING IMPACTS
SR 61 and Wilson Rd./SR 656 Roundabout – The intersection of SR 61 and Wilson Rd./SR 656 will close starting Tuesday, June 1 through August 2021 for construction of a peanut roundabout.
- Detour: SR 61 to I-71 southbound to US 36 eastbound to SR 36/3 eastbound to SR 61 or reverse.
