ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.

Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on June 13.

DELAWARE COUNTY

State Route 257

CONTINUING IMPACTS
SR 257 between Ostrander Rd. and SR 37 will close starting Monday, June 7 through Friday, June 18 for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 36 eastbound to Houlk Rd. northbound to SR 37 westbound or reverse.

State Route 61

CONTINUING IMPACTS
SR 61 and Wilson Rd./SR 656 Roundabout – The intersection of SR 61 and Wilson Rd./SR 656 will close starting Tuesday, June 1 through August 2021 for construction of a peanut roundabout.

  • Detour: SR 61 to I-71 southbound to US 36 eastbound to SR 36/3 eastbound to SR 61 or reverse.

U. S. Route 23

U.S. Route 23 North Side Sign Upgrades – Upgrade lane assignment signs to a larger size on U.S. 23 approaching I-270, install additional signs, modify striping on U.S. 23 south to allow a dedicated lane for each entrance ramp. Estimated completionSummer 2021

CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 23 southbound at I-270 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 4 p.m.) starting Monday, March 1 through June 2021 for sign and lane assignment upgrades.

FRANKLIN COUNTY

Interstate 270

NEW IMPACTS

The I-270 eastbound ramp to U.S. 23 southbound on the southside will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, June 13 and Monday, June 14 for resurfacing.

  • Detour: I-270 eastbound to Alum Creek Dr. to I-270 westbound to U.S. 23 southbound.

NEW IMPACTS

  • I-270 northbound between Livingston Ave. and Main St. will have overnight lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Friday, June 18.
  • The E. Broad St. eastbound ramp to I-270 southbound will close overnight (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Friday, June 18.
    • Detour: Broad St. eastbound to I-270 northbound to Hamilton Rd. to I-270 southbound.
  • The E. Broad St. westbound ramp to I-270 southbound will reduce to one lane overnight (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Friday, June 18.

NEW IMPACTS

  • The I-270 westbound ramp to Sawmill Rd. will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Friday, June 11 through Saturday, June 19.
    • Detour: I-270 westbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 eastbound to Sawmill Rd.
  • The Sawmill Rd. southbound and northbound ramps to I-270 westbound will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Friday, June 11 through Saturday, June 19.
    • Detour: Sawmill Rd. to I-270 eastbound to SR 315 northbound to I-270 westbound.
  • I-270 westbound between Smoky Row Rd. and Riverside Dr. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 13 through Saturday, June 19.

Interstate 71

NEW IMPACTS

I-71 southbound and northbound between Greenlawn Ave. and Dyer Rd. will have nightly lane restrictions (7p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 13 through Friday, June 18.

U.S. Route 23
