ODOT District Six has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County.

Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on June 14.

State Route 745

U.S. Route 42 intersection safety – Add left turn lanes on U.S. 42 at the intersections of SR 745/SR 257 and SR 257/Klondike Rd., resurface U.S. 42 from SR 745/SR 257 to SR 257/Klondike Rd., and upgrade guardrail. Estimated completion: September

CONTINUING IMPACTS #1
SR 745 at U.S. 42 will close starting Monday, June 8 for culvert replacement and pavement repairs. Estimated completion: Monday, June 22. Detour: U.S. 42 northbound to SR 257 southbound to Home Rd. to SR 745 northbound.

CONTINUING IMPACTS #2
State Route 745 resurfacing project – SR 745 between the Franklin/Delaware County line and U.S. 42 will have daytime lane restrictions through Friday, June 19 for dirt and guardrail work.

U.S. Route 23

U.S. Route 23 barrier repair – Repair the retaining wall and bridge deck overlay on the U.S. 23 southbound ramp to Williams St. Estimated completion: October

CONTINUING IMPACTS
The U.S. 23 northbound ramp to William St. will continue to be restricted to one lane through October

U.S. Route 42

CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. Route 42 emergency culvert replacement and road repair – U.S. 42 between the city of Delaware and Horseshoe Road is closed due to a sinkhole that developed after recent heavy rains. Estimated completion: August. Detour: SR 37 to U.S. 23 to SR 229 or reverse.

State Route 257

CONTINUING IMPACTS
State Route 257 resurfacing project – SR 257 between U.S. 42 and SR 750 will continue to have daily lane restrictions through Friday, June 19 for dirt and guardrail work.
