ODOT District 6 has released its weekly report highlighting road construction projects which are beginning or underway in the multi-county area it serves. What follows are posted projects taking place within Delaware County and Franklin County.
Please stay safe and pay attention to these closures and work taking place during the week beginning on October 24.
DELAWARE COUNTY
U.S. Route 42
CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 42 between Kelly-McMaster Rd. and Pittman Rd. will close starting Monday, October 25 through Friday, November 5 for culvert replacement. Detour: U.S. 36 to U.S. 23 to SR 229 to U.S. 42 or reverse.
State Route 315
CONTINUING IMPACTS
SR 315 between Home Rd. and Orange Rd. will close starting Monday, October 25 through Friday, November 5 for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 315 to SR 750 to US 23 to Home Rd. to SR 315 or reverse.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
NEW IMPACTS
Olentangy River Rd. between Highland Drive and Henderson Rd. will have daily lane restrictions (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) starting Monday, November 1 through Friday, November 5.
Interstate 270
NEW IMPACTS
- I-270 eastbound and westbound between Riverside Dr. and Smoky Row Rd. will have nightly lane restrictions starting Sunday, October 31 through Friday, November 5.
- The I-270 westbound ramp to Sawmill Rd. will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Thursday, November 4 and Friday, November 5.
- Detour: I-270 westbound to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to I-270 eastbound to Sawmill Rd.
- The Sawmill Rd. northbound and southbound ramps to I-270 westbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Thursday, November 4 and Friday, November 5.
- Detour: Sawmill Rd. to I-270 eastbound to SR 315 northbound to I-270 westbound.
Interstate 71
NEW IMPACTS
- I-71 northbound and southbound between Greenlawn Ave. and I-270 will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, October 31 through Friday, November 5.
- The Greenlawn Ave. ramp to I-71 northbound will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, October 31 through Friday, November 5.
- Detour: Greenlawn Ave. to I-71 southbound to Frank Rd. to I-71 northbound.
- The I-71 northbound ramp to I-270 eastbound on the south side will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, October 31 through Friday, November 5.
- Detour: I-270 westbound to U.S. 62 to I-270 eastbound.
U.S. Route 62
NEW IMPACTS
U.S. 62 between Orders Rd. and SR 665 will close starting Monday, November 1 through Monday, November 15 for culvert replacement. Detour: I-270 eastbound to I-71 southbound to SR 665 westbound to US 62.
NEW IMPACTS
- The U.S. 62 ramp to I-71 northbound will close (8 p.m. – 11 p.m.) on Wednesday, November 3.
- Detour: U.S. 62 northbound to SR 665 to I-71 northbound.
- U.S. 62 northbound and southbound at I-71 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.) starting Monday, November 1 through Friday, November 5. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
- I-71 northbound at the Pickaway/Franklin County Line and at U.S. 62 will have overnight lane restrictions (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Wednesday, November 3.
