The grounds buzz with activity till 5 PM as attendees explore vendor stalls, partake in “make it and take it” gourd crafts, and relish the opening day of a gourd-centric universe. The day caps off with an OGS Membership Meeting, aligning the gourd community for the exciting weekend ahead.

Saturday, October 7: The Competition Heats Up As dawn breaks, the anticipation reaches a crescendo with the fairground opening to the public at 9 AM. The competitive spirit is palpable as gourd entry tags for competition are distributed, and exhibitors hurriedly place their entries before the 11 AM deadline.
