Two upcoming programs at two locations of the Delaware County District Library center on artistic expression — one visual, the other musical.

A program entitled “Paint Night” is geared toward adults, and will have its first of three monthly sessions this Thursday night at 6:30 PM at the Orange Branch, 7171 Gooding Boulevard. Join local artist and owner of Canvas Creations For You for a night of painting fun.

No prior artistic experience is required. All supplies, as well as light refreshments, will be provided. At the end of the program, you will have a fantastic creation to bring home.

Then, on Saturday, March 16 from 11 AM to Noon, the entire family can enjoy a program titled “Bagpipes and Books.” Attendees will enjoy the music and culture of the Great Highland Bagpipe. Learn about how bagpipes work and why we will have them today.

More information on both programs is available by contacting the Library at: 740.362.3861.
