Imagine that you crave a new book to read, but find it difficult to get ideas without personally visiting a local bookstore or library location.

With the recent changes related to the COVID-19 pandemic, such activities are harder than they used to be. The Delaware County District Library, for instance, has again turned to curbside and drive thru service only for book access.

There is an answer via the Library, however. It’s called “Personalized Picks.”

As described by DCDL, the program works this way:”You let us know the last few books that you read and enjoyed, what aspects you liked about them, and what you want us to steer you toward (or away from) for your next title. Then, we’ll send you an email with a list of books that we think you might enjoy, based on your answers.

Fill out the Personalized Picks form at www.delawarelibrary.org/personalized-picks. Once you fill the form out, you can expect an email with five-to-seven book recommendations that you might want based on your interests. We’ll get the email back to you as quickly as we can, based on current demand for the service.:

The form is geared toward adult and young adult readers, but can be used by teens and children with adult assistance.
