This Monday, two young people active in Scouting will present a program for the Powell Liberty Historical Society.

Begnning at 7 PM at the Martin-Perry House, Abbie Ogilbee and Gavin Bull will present the basics of Scouting and a description of what each is currently undertaking as they pursue the highest levels in their respective programs — the Gold Award for Abbie and the Eagle Award for Gavin.

Both are currently high school students who live in Powell.

According to the Society, “Powell Liberty Historical Society is especially happy to take this opportunity to honor these fine high school students and learn about their scouting ambitions and their role in the community. We hope you can join us for this informative evening. No doubt, many of you were active in scouting when you were young. Come prepared to share your experiences.”

There is no charge to attend this public program.
