The City of Powell has announced that Steitz Road will be closed in front of the new Carpenter’s Mill subdivision for roadway improvements starting on Monday, August 5 and lasting through Friday, September 20, weather permitting.

The roadway improvements include culvert replacement, roadway widening and the addition of a turn lane for the new subdivision. Improvements are being done by the developer.

For a detour, use Rutherford Road eastbound, then north on Sawmill Parkway, and finally west on Home Road.
