Enjoy incredible music performed by local voices and orchestra this Sunday as the Delaware Community Chorus performs the “Magnificat” of English composer John Rutter.

This holiday performance will include this piece, exquisite carols by Rutter, and delightful songs of the season.

The Chorus will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra and will perform under direction of Joshua Brodbeck and will take place at 3 PM on Sunday, December 16 at Asbury United Methodist Church at 55 West Lincoln in Delaware. [widgets_on_pages id=1]

The Magnificat by John Rutter is a musical setting of the biblical canticle Magnificat, completed in 1990. Rutter is an internationally acclaimed English composer, conductor, editor, arranger, and record producer, mainly of choral music.
