SourcePoint’s Health & Wellness Expo is set for Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 to 11:30 AM at 800 Cheshire Road, Delaware. This event, presented by OhioHealth, features a wide variety of free health screenings for local adults ages 55 and older, wellness activities, and more. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

A variety of free screenings and assessments will be available, including A1C, applied kinesiology, balance, cholesterol, depression, fitness, flexibility, grip strength, kidney risk, hearing, memory, posture, post-traumatic stress disorder, pulse and oxygen saturation, spinal, vision, and more.

Additional activities and resources include cooking demonstrations, driver safety, emergency response systems, fitness demonstrations, healthy brain activities, home safety checks, mammogram scheduling, medical equipment and products, medication disposal, medication reviews, phone captioning, reading services, veteran support, and more.

Walgreens will provide flu vaccines, for which multiple insurance plans are accepted, as is payment via cash or check. The Delaware Public Health District will also provide flu vaccines, as well as COVID-19 vaccines.

SourcePoint is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides professional expertise, services, and programs for Delaware County adults who want to thrive after 55 and family caregivers. Services and programs are supported in part by the local senior services levy, corporate and private donations, grants, the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, and United Way of Delaware County.
