If you hurry, you can still beat the registration deadline for “Birds, Blooms & Breakfast” at the Stratford Ecological Center.

At the event you can enjoy an early May bird concert of sounds while walking the trails in small groups, each led by experienced birders. It’s the ideal time of year to enjoy the birds as well as the amazing wildflowers there.

Coffee, sweet treats, and boxed breakfast will be served. There are two serving times. For current biders, the “Prime Time” session is advised — 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. For more novice birders and those who don’t like to rise at the crack of dawn, the “Not Quite Ready for Prime Time” contingent takes place from 8:15 AM to 10:10 AM.

When you are finished, you are welcome to rewalk trails and to visit the farm.

This is a COVID-19 responsible outdoor activity, and is designed for age 6 and older. If you have them, binoculars are a must-bring item.

Cost is $25 for adults, and $15 for children aged 6 to 17. Online registration is required, must be done by Friday, April 16, and can be accessed here.
