When it comes to protecting your child on the road, correct car seat installation can make all the difference. Now, the Delaware Public Health District (DPHD) has taken a big step toward making that safety easier to access—by launching a new online appointment system for car seat safety checks.
Parents and caregivers can now book a 30-minute appointment online with just a few clicks, choosing from two convenient locations:

Fourth Thursday of each month from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Each 30-minute session covers one vehicle and accommodates up to two children. If you have more than two children or need multiple vehicles checked, you’ll need to schedule an additional 30-minute slot.
Certified technicians will walk you through the proper installation process, ensure the seat is the right fit for your child, and answer any questions you may have. These checks are an important step to help reduce the risk of injury during an accident—and DPHD makes it easy and accessible for all Delaware County families.
