The Delaware County District Library is excited to offer a unique opportunity for teens to dive into the world of comic making. Join local artist and teacher Bryan Moss for an engaging and hands-on introduction to the basics of comics. This summer program is perfect for teens ages 13-17 who are eager to explore their artistic talents and storytelling skills.

Meet Bryan Moss

Bryan Moss, a Columbus-based artist, visual storyteller, and teacher, brings a wealth of experience and creativity to this program. His public murals and artistic collaborations are well-known in downtown Columbus, adding vibrant and thought-provoking art to the cityscape. In addition to his public work, Bryan is an esteemed art instructor at the Columbus College of Art & Design and the Columbus Museum of Art.

Program Details

During the Teens Only: Comic Making sessions, Bryan will guide attendees through the fundamentals of comic creation. Teens will learn about character design, panel layout, and narrative development, culminating in the creation of their very own one-page comic. All supplies needed for the workshop are provided, ensuring that participants can fully immerse themselves in the creative process.

  • Liberty Library on Friday, June 14 at 2:00 PM
  • Ostrander Library on Friday, July 5 at 2:30 PM
  • Orange Library on Tuesday, July 9 at 2:00 PM
  • Delaware Library on Tuesday, July 16 at 2:00 PM
