Sure, in-person events are few and far between these days. Don’t let that stand in your way of an enjoyable online visit with a published author.

British author Annie Lyons will be discussing her new novel, The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett, in an event presented by the Delaware County District Library.

The book, which can be purchased through BeanBag Books, will take place on January 28 at 4:00 PM on Zoom. Cost is just $5 for members of Friends of the Delaware County District Library and $10 for non-members.

The book is described as a moving and joyous novel about an elderly woman ready to embrace death and the little girl who reminds here what it means to live.

Registration can be accomplished online at: www.annielyons2021.EventBrite.com.

The Library is also partnering with Beehive Breads in Powell, where you can order a “British Pastry Box” to enjoy while you are watching the discussion.
