About the Workshop

Jim Reding and his students have accomplished incredible feats in environmental restoration and education. From creating vernal pools and simulated streams to planting over 2000 trees and building bat boxes, this project has been a hands-on, place-based learning experience like no other.

The workshop, titled “Re-Envisioning Land & Learning: The How’s and Why’s of the Granville 100-Acre Prairie Learning Lab,” will provide insights into the practical and educational aspects of this transformative project.
