Three Delaware Countians were recently appointed to statewide positions by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.
Patrick Jay Beam of Powell has been reappointed to the Ohio Landscape Architects Board for a term beginning Nov. 10, 2022 and ending Nov. 9, 2027.
The Ohio Landscape Architects Board is responsible for the regulation of the practice of landscape architecture in the State of Ohio. The Ohio Landscape Architects Board was established in 1965 and consists of 3 landscape architects, one allied professional member, and one public member, all appointed by the Governor’s office. The Ohio Landscape Architects Board is dedicated to the promotion and protection of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Ohio by:
- Establishing and maintaining high standard for landscape architectural registration, practice and professional conduct;
- Proactively enforcing the laws and rules governing the practice of landscape architecture;
- Board staff communicating with and educating the public and the profession concerning the practice of landscape architecture.
Juan Jose Perez of Westerville has been appointed to The Ohio State University Board of Trustees for a term beginning Nov. 7, 2022 and ending May 13, 2031.
Pierre Bigby of Lewis Center has been appointed to The Ohio State University Board of Trustees for a term beginning Nov. 7, 2022 and ending May 13, 2031.
The Ohio State University is governed by a board of 17 governor-appointed trustees who are responsible for oversight of academic programs, budgets and general administration, and employment of faculty and staff.
