Registration is open for the Delaware Turkey Trot, a 5K and Kid’s Fun Run hosted by New Beginnings Church and taking place on Thanksgiving morning (November 26) starting behind Office Max/Kohl’s.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trot is limited this year to 600 participants.
Founded in 2012, the Delaware Turkey Trot is a family event and all are invited. 100% of event proceeds go to the Autism Society of Central Ohio. Some $93,000 has been donated over the first 6 years.
The two races are:
- 5K Run/Walk
- A Kid’s Fun Run led by the event mascot “Gobbler” is for kids aged 8 and under. Races will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (November 23-25) at 5:30 PM at Packet Pickup.

5K registration is $40, while the Little Gobbler race is $15.
