The Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) will be holding its State of the Region event virtually this year, and will feature a keynote speaker on the topic of creating sustainable and economically successful cities.

This year’s event has a theme of “Our Future Envisioned,” and will highlight regional accomplishments as well as discuss plans for central Ohio as it moves into the future.

MORPC shares the following about keynote speaker Johnathan F.P. Rose:

“Rose’s business, public policy, writing and not-for-profit work focuses on creating more environmentally, socially and economically resilient cities. In 1989, Mr. Rose founded Jonathan Rose Companies LLC, a multi-disciplinary real estate development, planning, project management, and investment firm, to address the challenges of the 21st century.”

Other speakers and session topics have not yet been announced.

The virtual event will take place on Wednesday, March 31 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Those who register will receive the access information to the live event prior to its start. Registration is currently open and can be accomplished here.
