The music, arts, food, and festive nature of the Caribbean can be yours to sample this weekend without leaving Delaware County.

All you need do is to head to the Fairgrounds in Delaware and to the Columbus Caribbean Festival.

According to the event website, the Festival is designed “…to bring the culture and heritage of the Caribbean to Central Ohio. Some of the popular islands in the Caribbean that will be celebrated include; Jamaica, Anguilla, Antigua, Barbuda, Barbados, Bermuda, Virgin Islands, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Saint Kitts, Saint Lucia, and many others.”

This year’s performers include Shurwayne Winchester from Trinidad & Tobago, Stone Love from Jamaica, and many more.

Festival organizers have also shared a statement regarding COVID precautions and risks. That statement can be read by clicking here and then on “COVID-19” in the top menu.

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 4 and 5, from 11 AM to 11 PM. Tickets can be purchased online at this location.
