The Giving Machines at Polaris Fashion Place Mall have been making a meaningful impact this holiday season, offering shoppers a unique way to support local and global charitable causes. With just a couple of days left before they move to their next destination, now is the perfect time to visit and make a difference.

A New Tradition of Giving

Tuesday isn’t just for online shopping deals—it’s Giving Tuesday! The Giving Machines provide a hands-on opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people in need. By selecting an item from the machines, you can directly contribute to various charities.

So far, the Columbus community has come together in impressive ways. In just two weeks, donations have provided:

  • 2,300 loads of laundry for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus
  • Support for 27 new mothers
  • Dinner for 95 local families
  • 45 individuals with new shoes
  • Aid for 139 malnourished children
  • Meals for 71 refugee families
  • Educational toys for 66 children

This effort showcases the incredible generosity of central Ohioans during the holiday season.

Time is Running Out

The Giving Machines will remain at Polaris Fashion Place until Saturday, December 7, after which they will be relocated to the Kenwood Town Centre in Cincinnati for the remainder of the holiday season. The machines are conveniently located at the mall, making it easy to stop by during a holiday shopping trip.

How it Works

The Giving Machines operate like vending machines but for charity. Simply choose a donation item—ranging from meals and clothing to toys and services—and your contribution will go directly to those in need through local and international nonprofit organizations.

Each selection not only helps those in need but also reminds us of the true spirit of the holidays: giving back to our community and beyond.

Don’t Miss Your Chance to Give Back!

With only a few days left before the Giving Machines leave Polaris, this is a great opportunity to join a movement that has already helped hundreds of individuals and families. Whether you’re contributing to local causes or global initiatives, every small gesture can make a big impact.
