The staggered reopening schedule at the Delaware County District Library saw the Main Library in Delaware open for walkthrough browsing on Monday, February 22.

Branches in Powell and Orange Township will also open to patrons on Monday, with the Ostrander Branch opening on Tuesday.

As shared by the Library, you can continue to reserve items online, whether you use the app or the online catalog, request documents to be printed, search scholarly websites, or have librarians recommend your next book.

You can reach the Library  by phone, email or website chat. They have recently added a plethora of resources specifically for students, including live tutors on-demand through Brainfuse HelpNow. Maybe you’ve got an immediate need to watch a documentary or stream some music – They have that, too. They will continue with their excellent array of virtual programs.

You are reminded that Delaware Library staff will continue steps to maintain safety precautions with mask-wearing, social distancing, and regular cleaning and hand-washing protocols. Patrons also will be required to wear masks upon entering buildings, social distance from other patrons and library staff, and limit time spent in the building.
