Our regular updates on upcoming road projects being undertaken by the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 6 office in Delaware will be continuing this year, as well as continually updated news on the same topic from the office of the Delaware County Engineer.

The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Delaware County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. U.S. Route 23 North Side Sign Upgrades Project:

Upgrade lane assignment signs to a larger size on U.S. 23 approaching I-270, install additional signs, modify striping on U.S. 23 south to allow a dedicated lane for each entrance ramp.

Estimated completion: Summer 2021

CONTINUING IMPACTS THIS WEEK:

U.S. Route 23 southbound at I-270 will have daily lane restrictions (7 a.m. – 4 p.m.) starting Monday, March 1 through Friday, April 2 for sign and lane assignment upgrades.
