On Tuesday, November 5 Westerville resident and art educator Janine Crum showcased her puzzle-solving prowess on the nationally acclaimed game show ‘Wheel of Fortune.’ Crum, who owns the Daylight Artist Collective located at 9 E. College Ave., not only demonstrated her linguistic agility but also shared a personal anecdote with host Ryan Seacrest about her near-audition for ‘American Idol.’

A Game-Changing Round

The competition began with all contestants closely matched. However, Crum seized a pivotal opportunity during the Express Round. By correctly solving the puzzle “Cherry Blossom Season,” she secured $5,950 and an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan valued at $13,498. This impressive performance catapulted her to a commanding lead with total earnings of $22,448.

Sealing the Deal in the Bonus Round
