Congratulations are in order for a well-known local restaurant that serves a well-loved product.
This week saw publication of the 2019 edition of “The best pizza shop in each of Ohio’s 88 counties” list on cleveland.com. This list updates the last edition, issued three years ago.
According to the post, reviewers set out “…using the same methodology of combining a restaurant’s average star-rating with the number of views and reviews on Yelp to identify the top pizza spot in every county.”
The local winner?
It’s Amato’s Woodfired Pizza at 6 South Sandusky Street in downtown Delaware. The cited Yelp review shared, “When we first moved to Delaware we could tell Amato’s must be good because every time you drove by the place was packed. We tried the bruschetta and five cheese pizza. I love how their crust is thin and you get the nice crispiness from the wood fired oven.” — Cortney M.”
