This year’s schedule for the Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops football team will see the team welcome opponents to Selby Stadium for three of the first four Saturdays of the season and see them on the road for three of the final four football Saturdays.

Ohio Wesleyan University is a charter member of the North Coast Athletic Conference, which began competition in the 1984-85 academic year. Other charter members are Allegheny College, Case Western Reserve University, Denison University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College and the College of Wooster

The team’s first game took place on Saturday, May 3, 1890, when OWU fell to The Ohio State University by a score of 20-14. This was one of three games played during that season.

The schedule is as follows:

September 7 – 2 PM = Otterbein

September 14 – 2 PM = at Kenyon

September 21 – 2 PM = Oberlin – Faculty Recognition Day

September 28 – 2 PM = Allegheny – Honorary Coaches Game/Coach to Cure MD

October 5 – 1 PM = at Wabash

October 19 – 2 PM = DePauw – Homecoming

October 26 – 1 PM = at Hiram

November 2 – 1 PM = at Wooster

November 9 – 1 PM = Denison – Senior Recognition Day/Veterans Game

November 16 – 1 PM = at Wittenberg
